The Ponderosa Lodge offers the perfect combination of somewhat rustic rooms with modern conveniences such as cable TV and free wireless Internet. We believe a lodge should assist its guests in experiencing all an area has to offer and with that in mind we have collected extensive material on the Red River and northern New Mexico area to enable us to help our guests create their own memorable vacation.

About Us
The Red River Ponderosa Lodge was built in the mid '80s. It is not only in the center of town right on Main Street, but is also in the center of the Red River Lodging community. About half of our guest rooms have fully furnished kitchens as well as a wood burning fireplace (we furnish the wood). We have cable TV as well as free wireless Internet in most rooms. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the on-site hot tub and dry sauna, especially during the winter months. There are some "pet friendly" rooms available for a nominal nightly fee.
